Ahwaz Organization for the Defence of Human Rights (AODHR) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to the promotion and reinforcements to the principles and norms of human rights. Many of members of the AODHR were victims of torture by Iranian state.

Our mission

Ahwaz Organization for the Defence of Human Rights defends the rights of Ahwazi people living in south and southwest of Iran in a region calls Ahwaz. AODHR works to uphold human dignity and advance the cause of human rights for all. We are working to stop human rights violations in Ahwaz.
