وكان جهاز المخابرات الإيراني اختطف “الحيدري” البالغ من العمر 38 عامًا من مكان إقامته بحي الورد أحد ضواحي الأحواز العاصمة، ولم يظهر إلا بعد 26 يومًا في معتقل وزارة الاستخبارات بالأحواز، ومن ثم تم نقله إلى سجن شيبان الأحواز.
ويعد جعفر حيدري أحد الرموز الثقافية في الأحواز، ويدير مؤسسة ثقافية تحمل اسم “هنا ثقافة الأحواز”، وله عدة مؤلفات متخصّصة وموجهة للأطفال، منها: تأليف كتاب تعليم الحروف العربية للأطفال، وترجمة كتاب “ضيف الضب” وتأليف كتاب “الجمال العنيد”.
وبجانب نشاطه الثقافي، فإن الحيدري متزوج ويعول 3 أبناء من توصيل الكهرباء إلى المباني، أي أن وضعه الاقتصادي ليس على ما يرام، ما يجعل دفع الكفالة الباهظة التي حددتها المحكمة لإطلاق سراحه أمرًا مستحيلًا.
وتستنكر المنظمة الأحوازية للدفاع عن حقوق الإنسان، الممارسات الهمجية التي تمارسها تجاه المثقفين والأدباء، وإن كانوا في بلد آخر لتلقوا التكريم والترحيب، لكننا في جغرافية اللاءات الثلاث (لا دولة، لا قانون، لا إنسانية).
