Local residents say that the shortage of gas cylinders has increased dramatically over previous years. Meanwhile, prices recorded an unprecedented increase.

The Ahwazi Organization for the Defence of Human Rights confirms that the shortage of gas cylinders is one of the episodes of racial discrimination that the Ahwazi people are experiencing by the Iranian regime, at a time when the Ahwazi people need help with the outbreak of the new Corona pandemic.

 

 

The organization expresses its surprise and disappointment at the suffering of the Ahwazi people concerning the shortage of gas. While they are the original owners of gas, Ahwaz floats on a sea of natural gas and oil wealth.

 

 

The Ahwazi Organization for the Defence of Human Rights notes that the Iranian regime relies on reviving its economy and supplying its cities with the necessary needs of petroleum materials from the coffers of Ahwazi lands, which was stolen with its forced power keeping the Ahwazi people in the circle of deprivation.

 

 

The organization calls on the international community to activate international laws and conventions to protect the wealth of the Ahwazi people, or at the very least to work on distributing them in a fair manner that provides a decent life for the indigenous people of the Ahwazi lands.
